Laney goes by her middle name because in middle school, there were 7 other Nicoles and she kept getting confused with them. She wanted to stand apart, so she chose to go by 'Laney,' which is also her mother's maiden name.
(AmberLee) Megan Lavery
Megan goes by her middle name because that's how her parents always intended her to be known. They only named her AmberLee Megan because they thought it sounded better than Megan AmberLee. Megan likes her middle name better, anyway.
(Shannon) Kaylee Lavery
Kaylee is Megan's younger sister, and her parents did the same thing with her. Instead of naming their children with the first name that they will be known as by the rest of the world, they determined what would sound better on records and then call them by their middle names.
